Client Service Representative

The Opportunity 

Pure Essentials is seeking an articulate and highly skilled Customer Service Representative to work on site in our New York office. If you love building strong client relationships and want to add immediate value in a rapidly growing, product-focused, and dynamic company in the wellness market, this opportunity could be for you.

This is a full time, seasonal position and pays 52k per year for the right candidate.

As our Client Services Representative, you will:

  • Offer friendly and efficient customer service 

  • Receive and send written business correspondence, manage incoming telephone calls, email, and web orders

  • Enter orders into the sales program and fulfill shipping onsite

  • Resolve customer complaints, manage database records, and draft status reports on customer service issues

  • Complete data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer issues

  • Complete daily sales reporting and support our remote sales team

  • Maintain accurate inventory

  • Support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of past relevant experience including purchasing procurement

  • Upbeat, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism, respect, and inclusivity

  • Proficient with diversified computer software and systems, including Microsoft Suite, Google, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), email, and e-commerce platforms such as Active Campaign and Shopify

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Motivators and Skill sets include:

  • Must be passionate about health and wellness; experience with natural health and supplements industry is a plus

  • Must be a “champion” of customer service best practices and able to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
