As we scale, we are seeking a strategic, results‑driven Sales and Business Development leader to support and drive our expansion.
Role Overview
You are the face of the company, a field‑first, relationship‑driven hunter who lives in the community. You will build and own a partner and referral pipeline across chambers of commerce, Business Network International groups, real‑estate brokerages, professional associations, and local networks. You will deliver talks, launch pilots, turn pilots into repeatable channels, and report on pipeline and revenue every week. The role partners closely with marketing operations and field leadership to generate new revenue and expand market share across our brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company at chambers of commerce, Business Network International groups, real‑estate brokerages, professional associations, and community events; target eight to twelve meaningful touchpoints per week (events, talks, sponsorships, and partner visits)
- Build and own a partner and referral pipeline: identify targets → book meetings → present → launch pilots → scale successful pilots
- Deliver group presentations (lunch‑and‑
learns, workshops, continuing‑education classes); handle questions and answers and pivot quickly when needed - Create repeatable business development systems: event calendar, talk tracks, leave‑behind materials, sponsorship kits
- Track all activities and deals in the customer relationship management system; publish a weekly pipeline report with meetings, stage progression, and revenue forecast
- Collaborate with marketing operations on collateral, local campaigns, and post‑event follow‑up
- Achieve monthly goals for new revenue and new customer accounts; refine the ideal customer profile and territories over time
- Over time, recruit and lead one to two field representatives or brand ambassadors
Ideal Experience and Skills
- 5 or more years of field sales or business development with measurable wins in new customer acquisition (home services, skilled trades, or local business‑to‑business)
- Executive presence and polish: public speaking, networking stamina, quick thinking, and concise writing
- Fluency with metrics (pipeline stages, close rates, customer acquisition cost, and return on investment) and disciplined use of the customer relationship management system
- Clean driver’s license; flexible for early‑morning or evening events as needed
- Coachable, resourceful, and proactive; thrives in a fast‑growing, multi‑brand environment
